Composition
Calf-Lyte Plus consists mainly of a combination of dextrose (for energy supply), alkalinising agents, electrolytes and lactoferrin (for strengthening the natural defences).
Instructions for use
Calves: Dissolve 1 sachet (90 g) in 2 litres of lukewarm water (37°C) and administer the solution by bottle or stomach tube. Feed 2 litres of fresh solution 2 to 3 times a day as the only feed or together with the normal feed (milk or milk replacer).
Period of use
1 to 7 days if given together with normal diet.
1 to 3 days if used as a single food, followed by 1 transitional day when combined with the normal diet and Calf-Lyte Plus.
